The Korea International
Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been working in Nepal since 1991,
undertaking development
cooperation programs on behalf of South Korean Government.
KOICA is implementing various
programs such as Projects, Dispatch of Volunteer and Fellowship
Programs that is contributing in
socio-economic development of Nepal. KOICA is currently
looking for a highly competent
and qualified Nepali citizen for the position of
Admin/Finance
Officer who will be responsible for National Health Insurance Support Project (NHISP). This project is implemented by National Health Insurance Service, Korea and supports the health insurance program led by Health
Insurance Board under the Government of Nepal. The major
activities of NHISP are to
provide technical support to the Government of Nepal in
implementation of health
insurance through policy consultation and research, build the capacity of
stakeholders, and support implementation of health insurance in Kailali
district
of Nepal.
Duration: Till December 2020
Duty Station: NHISP Office, Jwagal, Lalitpur
Major Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • ·     
    Document
    financial records and prepare financial reports in compliance with organization
    rules and policies.
  • ·   
    Oversee administrative functions of project such as regular payment,
    contract management, filing system, assets and inventory management, purchasing
    and management of supplies.
  • ·   
    Provide administrative support including preparing letters and documents,
    meeting
    minutes,
    workshop reports, and schedule appointments.
  • ·   
    Manage human
    resource profile including attendance, payment of salaries and benefits
    of the project staffs.
  • ·   
    Manage
    logistical arrangements during project activity implementation and business
    trip
    of project staffs.
  • ·   
    Any other
    tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
and Required Skills.and Proficiency:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration (Masters Prefered)
  •  minimum three years of relevant
    work experiences
    in the area of accounting, finance or administration.
  • Good
    understanding of working with development
    partners, government and in multicultural environment.
  • Excellent skills in written English
    language, computer skills and preparing technical reports.
