Embassy of United States of America in Kathmandu Nepal has announced the vacancy for the post of Facilities Office Administrator-Current for the all the eligible which comes under the following qualifications and experiences
>Duties
The incumbent provides administrative assistance to Facility Manager and to Post Engineer. The incumbent serves as a liaison for Facility Management personnel on logistical requirements like travel, training and dissemination of information on Post’s policy and procedures. The incumbent maintains contacts with Government of Nepal (GON) officers related to civil engineering, utilities (fuel, water, electricity, sewage) and GON roads and traffic management offices. The incumbent acts as a coordinator with Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) offices for funding and training requirements. The incumbent manages the work order systems through internal software for providing various operational support. The incumbent directly supervises one work control clerk. The incumbent also works as a sub-cashier and time keeper for section.
>Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years of previous experience in secretarial, administrative, contracting and clerical work involving customer service is required.
General knowledge of various trades/crafts and terminologies used in the maintenance operations is required. Thorough knowledge of office administrative and clerical work is required. General knowledge of the hierarchy and organizational structures of different ministries of Nepal is required.
>Education Requirements:
Successful completion of Higher Secondary School is required.
These may be tested (Language, Skills and Abilities):
>LANGUAGE: Level IV (Fluent) reading/speaking/writing English is required. Level IV (Fluent) reading/speaking/writing Nepali is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The ability to deal effectively with all levels of customers is required. The ability to use various Windows-based computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
