Job Description
- Maintaining and developing relationships with all distributors
- Identifying potential customers (Distributors) for new business
- Gathering market and customer information (Wholesaler) and passing it to Area Sales Managers
- Providing feedback to Area Sales manager on future buying trends in his/her given area
- Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations in your area as and when instructed by ASMs
- Discussing now and then regarding variations in price, delivery and specifications about the product with his/her Area Sales Manager
- Give Feedback to Area Sales Manager on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions as per your area
- Liaising with Area Sales Manager to check on the progress of existing orders of Distributors/ Wholesalers
- Checking fast moving and slow-moving stock of your Distributors and W/S on every visit and send the data to Area Sales manager
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Area Sales Manager
- Take responsibility for any customer complaints / issues & resolve them at earliest possible
- Perform credit checks on customers to ensure outstanding balance within limits before accepting an order
- Following and maintaining the account settlement of distributors as per company policy
- Maintaining and making sure that more than 80% availability of product is in the retail and W/S chain
- Coordinate with dealer for requirement of LC opening and BG collection
- Making market penetration and target achievement as per given standards
